Who we are
Built by drivers,
not press junkets.
DriveGazette exists because car reviews got too polite. We buy or rent every vehicle we test, we publish our raw test data, and no advertiser has ever seen a score before you do.
Method over opinion
How We Test
Same roads, every car
Every vehicle runs our fixed 512-mile loop: city grid, mountain grade, and a 200-mile highway leg. Comparable conditions, comparable numbers.
Instruments, not impressions
GPS timing gear for acceleration and braking, calibrated fuel measurement, decibel readings at three speeds. Feelings get written down; numbers get published.
We pay our own way
Cars are bought, rented or borrowed anonymously from dealers. No manufacturer-prepped press cars, no free flights, no minders.
The rules we can’t break
Ethics Policy
Scores are never for sale
Advertising is clearly labeled and sold by a separate team with no contact with editorial. No advertiser previews content.
Errors get fixed in public
Corrections are appended to articles with a timestamp — never silently edited away.
Affiliate links don’t touch verdicts
Commissions are disclosed at the top of the page. Verdicts are locked before links are added.
Long-term cars are owned
Every 12-month test vehicle is purchased at retail, so depreciation, repairs and dealer service happen to us too.
